(1) According to the flange width of the product, it is divided into wide flange, middle flange and narrow flange H-shaped steel.
(2) Divided into H-shaped steel beams, H-shaped steel columns, H-shaped steel piles, and extremely thick flange H-shaped steel beams according to product usage.
(3) According to the production method, it is divided into welded H-beam and rolled H-beam
(4) Divided into large, medium and small H-beams according to size specifications. Generally, products with a web height H above 700mm are called large, 300-700mm are called medium, and those with a web height H of less than 300mm are called small.
2.The difference between H-beam and I-beam
1.The flanges of H-beams are all of equal thickness, with rolled cross-sections and combined cross-sections composed of 3 plates welded. I-beams are all rolled sections. Due to poor production technology, there is a 1:10 slope on the inner edge of the flange.
2.The side length of I-beam is small and the height is large, so it can only bear unidirectional force. The H-shaped steel channel is deep and thick, which can withstand forces in two directions
3.I-beams can only be used for beams, while H-beams can be used for structural load-bearing columns。
4.I-steel flanges are variable-wearing surfaces that are thicker on the web and thinner on the outside; H-beam flanges are equal-to-wearing surfaces.
3.How to deal with the rust problem of H-beam?
1. Small pneumatic or electric rust removal
This method of rust removal is powered by electricity or compressed air, and equipped with appropriate rust removal equipment to reciprocate the rust spots of H-beam steel, and can roughen the coating, which is widely used in the process of ship repairing application.
2.High pressure water abrasive rust removal
This rust removal method is to destroy the corrosion and coating of H-beam steel by the impact of high-pressure water jet. No dust pollution, no damage to the H-shaped steel, greatly improving the rust removal efficiency, and good rust removal quality.
3.Shot blasting and rust removal
Shot blasting rust removal uses a rotating impeller to throw abrasives onto the surface of steel to achieve the effect of rust removal.
4. Shot blasting and rust removal
This method of rust removal mainly uses particle spraying to achieve the effect of surface cleaning, which can more thoroughly remove impurities on the surface of H-shaped steel.
